On Aug. 25, 2017, Hurricane Harvey made landfall in the Coastal Bend area of South Texas. The storm came ashore near the City of Rockport as a Category 4 hurricane with winds up to 152 mph and a storm surge up to 10-feet. Hurricane Harvey damaged 40,929 structures, and $4.5 Billion in damages to the Coastal Bend. Over 86,000 applied for FEMA.

RESILIENCY
Homes Built – All homes built by CBDRG utilized a local Engineer to meet T.W.I. (Texas Windstorm Insurance) standards and are issued a Certificate of Compliance, Form WPI-8 from TDI (Texas Department of Insurance) upon completion.
Manufactured Home Replacements – All Manufactured homes purchased by CBDRG are Wind Zone II.
Roof Replacements – Roof Replacements funded by CBDRG are issued a Certificate of Compliance, Form WPI-8 from TDI
